Cox promotes and disseminates a compliance culture to ensure, in collaboration with all areas and departments, the transmission of knowledge regarding the regulations that affect them under the framework of the Professional Code of Conduct, with Compliance Policies and the programs and procedures that support them.
The group has a whistleblower channel to allow the reporting of irregular actions or potential violations of the law or the company’s Ethical Code.
This committee focuses on monitoring and overseeing potential breaches of the Code of Conduct and/or internal fraud cases, particularly those involving senior management, who are required to strictly adhere to mandatory policies, rules, and processes, as well as avoid any instrumental activity that could lead to committing a crime or even an attempted one, as well as any failure within their functions.
The goal is for all business activities to embrace the commitment to fight fraud, with management acting as a lever to ensure compliance. Ultimately, the Committee aims to achieve the effective application of the principles outlined in the Code of Conduct and company policies, with supervision mechanisms that allow the company to detect non-compliant behaviors.
