Located in Abu Dhabi, it is the largest reverse osmosis desalination plant in the world and specializes in producing drinking water. Its operation is sustained by a photovoltaic solar field with a capacity exceeding 70 MWp (megawatts peak), which ensures a continuous supply of clean energy throughout the year. Located in Morocco, it is the largest desalination plant designed for combined drinking water and irrigation uses. It was recognized in 2019 by the International Desalination Association as the “Best Public-Private Partnership” award.
