Cox

Compliance

(Governance, Risk, and Compliance: GRC)

The Cox Criminal Prevention and Compliance System aims to foster a well-established environment of trust and responsibility in our professional activities, based on the company’s compliance culture promoted by the management body.

It is a space where employees feel empowered to act ethically and responsibly, even in challenging situations, but most importantly, to act with confidence. By following established guidelines, we ensure a safe harbor for our responsibilities.

What is it?

Through a set of practices, processes, and controls, we ensure that all activities comply with applicable laws, regulations, standards, and ethical norms within the industry. Most importantly, it helps prevent any criminal liability for both employees and the company itself.

Why is it so important to us?

How do we achieve this?

Implementing an effective corporate compliance program is key to building a culture of ethics and responsibility within the company.

We define policies and procedures that apply across the organization.

We train employees to understand their individual responsibilities and best practices in their daily activities.

We conduct regular audits to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective measures when necessary.

We promote a corporate culture based on ethics, transparency, and responsibility.

Our Compliance Model

We have developed a comprehensive model designed to protect our business, our employees, and our company from legal and reputational risks across all areas, activities, and locations. This clear, accessible, and globally applicable model includes:

These three pillars form the foundation of our system; more than just a set of rules, they serve as a compass that guides our daily professional behavior and provides confidence in what we do and how we do it. They define the principles and values we share as a team, from employees to partners and suppliers. Additionally, they allow for reporting any incidents related to the Code or potential legal or regulatory violations.

The attached Manual includes the mandatory Compliance Policies that shape the model. Other internal documents include context and scope analyses, weighted and quantified risk assessments, the control system, internal compliance reports, training and communication plans, the system’s internal audit plan, and more.
